Flamenco

I had my first Flamenco performance at the Petersham Primary School Fete a couple of weekends ago and here are some of the pictures! We are wearing traditional Sevillanas dresses which as you can imagine are quite heavy considering the large amount of fabric that goes in to all the frills and flounces! We managed to get through our dances without too many mistakes, the biggest one was in our first Sevillanas dance when we couldn't hear the music and started way too fast, it wouldn't have been that obvious to the audience except that we all finished dancing and the music continued! It was nice to get the first performance out of the way and I'm looking forward to the next time I can wear the dress!
