Paul and I went to the Football World Cup Qualifier at the Olympic Stadium last night with a bunch of his friends and were lucky enough to be at the right end of the field for the two goals! The game itself was ok, when we maintained possesion we looked good but the Uzbeks
looked quite dangerous on a number of occasions, though it appears that their coach gave them the directive to kick it out rather than into the goals! The atmosphere of the stadium was pretty awesome especially after the first goal was scored - a great header by Josh Kennedy threaded past the keeper, and went off when we got a (soft) penalty which Harry Kewell slotted home (see below).
