Sarah Blasko
I went to see Sarah Blasko at the Seymour Centre last night and it was awesome. The Seymour centre seemd like a strange place to have a rock concert, but as the album is pretty mellow, and the music is more alternative/folk rather than rock, it turned out to be a really great venue. Her new album 'What the Sea Wants' (check out http://www.sarahblasko.com/ for a taste of the album!) is really beautiful, haunting, and melodic and her support of a double bass, cello, violin, flute, french horn, percussion, piano and guitar worked so well.
